A Kermit from another universe arrives in the main universe using a Multiverse Transponder and finds Mario's house where he intends to destroy Mario's life by spawing in an evil Jeffy. However instead he spawns a Jeffy from a universe where Jeffy learns karate, this angers Kermit and he shakes and throws the transponder and realizes he messed up because he made 2 rules to the invention one of them being to never shake the device. Meanwhile Mario and Jeffy are in the house talking when Jeffy is switched with another Jeffy from a universe where Jeffy becomes a space hero and Mario an emperor. Mario is confused and thinks Jeffy is an idiot and decides to go check to see what Kermit who is outside wants since its his day off. Instead of finding Kermit he finds the karate Jeffy who tells Mario his origin story where Mario died in his universe and ever since then he has trained himself to learn karate.
